Ever wondered how to make that special Szechuan sauce and wanted to make it great again? Well here is how you can:
3 1/4 cups packed dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Asian Chile garlic sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger.
Combine the brown sugar and vinegar in a small saucepan. Cook with the stove on medium while stirring occasionally,until the sugar dissolves. Next add ketchup,soy sauce,Chile-garlic sauce,onion powder,and ginger. Stir constantly until everything is well combined and thickened then you should have the famous Szechuan sauce.
